AFC Team Formation (2025)
U13-U19 Teams (2013-2007)
Please see below our tryout schedule. There is important information for each age group as to who should attend each try-out. Due to the large number of players that we get in our try-outs we need to split up age groups by playing level so it is important that you read very carefully which try-out you should be attending. If you are not sure of anything then please reach out to our DOC at doc@associationfc.org.

U13-U14 Teams (2013-2012)
We aim to form multiple teams in each age group.
On the boys side our 1st teams will play ECNL and our 2nd teams will play ECNL-RL. Our 3rd and below teams will play in NorCal Premier (Premier, Gold, Silver, Bronze or Copper).
On the girls side our 1st teams will play ECNL-RL. Our 2nd and below teams will play in NorCal Premier (NPL, Premier, Gold, Silver, Bronze or Copper).
These tryouts will take place between Monday May 5th - Friday May 9th, 2025.
U15-U19 Teams (2011-2007)
We aim to form multiple teams in each age group.
On the boys side our 1st teams will play ECNL and our 2nd teams will play ECNL-RL. Our 3rd and below teams will play in NorCal Premier (Premier, Gold, Silver, Bronze or Copper).
On the girls side our 1st teams will play ECNL-RL. Our 2nd and below teams will play in NorCal Premier (NPL, Premier, Gold, Silver, Bronze or Copper).
These tryouts will take place between Monday May 19th - Thursday May 22nd, 2025.

Goalkeeper Tryouts
We will evaluate goalkeepers within your allotted try-out time.
Depending on the number of goalkeepers we may pull out goalkeepers and work with them separately, but we also may just evaluate them within the activities and games at the try-outs. However, there will be no separate Goalkeeper try-outs.

Programming during the summer for all AFC teams is offered as part of the season registration. Please consult the schedule to reference times, days and location for your player(s).

AFC Pre-Season Information Meeting
Meetings will be hosted both in person and virtually. Please reference the meeting links and times and dates below and add to your family calendar.
AFC Family Orientation Night (Virtual) - Monday 28th April 2025 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

AFC Team Meetings - For Parents Only (Once teams have been formed)
Meetings will be hosted both in person and virtually (web conference links will be sent out in welcome email).
Wednesday 28th May (Virtual)
• Club wide presentation – 6.00pm-7.00pm
Thursday May 29th (In Person - Ascension Cathedral, 4700 Lincoln Ave, Oakland, CA 94602 (Richmond Room)
• 2014 Pre-Academy Boys & Girls – 6.00-7.00pm
• 2013 Boys & Girls – 7.15-8.15pm
Thursday May 29th (Virtual)
• 2012-2005 Girls & Boys – 6.00pm-9.00pm - 45 minute team meetings in that time period to be announced by coach after team has formed
